ABOUT JILLIAN

Jillian Wessel is a New England native who grew up roaming the hills and forests of rural New Hampshire. ​

A graduate of Emerson College, where she studied Theatre Performance and Playwriting, Jillian later earned her Master of Arts in Applied Theatre from CUNY.

​

She is currently querying her first novel, The Violence of Light, a psychological suspense novel and publishes op-eds, essays, and poetry that explore contemporary social and political themes.

Jillian lives with her husband and two children in Petersham, Massachusetts.
